Individual Course Booking Terms and Conditions
Thank you for choosing Essex Construction Training. Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before booking a course with us. By making a booking, you confirm that you accept and agree to these terms.
All course bookings are subject to availability. Bookings are only confirmed once full payment has been received or a deposit/payment plan has been agreed in writing. You will receive a confirmation email once your booking has been processed.
Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment via bank transfer. If a payment plan is agreed, all payments must be made on or before the agreed dates — failure to do so may result in cancellation of your place without refund. All prices are subject to VAT (where applicable) and may change without notice; however, confirmed bookings will not be affected.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Cancellations made 28–30 days before the course start date will receive a full refund minus a £30 administration fee. Cancellations within 14 days will receive a 50% refund, and cancellations less than 14 days before the course will receive no refund. Any approved refund will be returned to the original payer and payment method only.
A request to transfer to an alternative course date may be made, subject to availability. Where a transfer request is received within 14 days of the course start date, Essex Construction Training may offer an alternative date, subject to availability. All transfer requests are at the sole discretion of Essex Construction Training and are subject to available course spaces.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any course due to insufficient numbers, trainer illness, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule. We will not be liable for any other costs incurred, including travel or accommodation expenses.
You must attend the full duration of the course to be eligible for certification. Late arrivals or early departures may result in non-certification, with no refund issued. Replacement certificates (if lost or damaged) may incur an administration fee.
You are required to follow all health and safety instructions while on our premises or any third-party training sites. We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate. No refunds will be given in such cases.
Essex Construction Training is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred during training unless caused by our negligence. Personal belongings remain the responsibility of the attendee.
Your personal data will be handled in accordance with GDPR and will only be used for booking, certification, and communication related to your course. We do not share your details with third parties without your consent, except where required for certification purposes.
By booking a course with Essex Construction Training, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
